How to get free online course materials from MIT OpenCourseWare

MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW) is a free and open educational resource that provides access to virtually all of the course content of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to anyone with an Internet connection. It was originally launched in 2002 as a pilot project of the MIT faculty and is now a permanent activity of the Institute.

Through OCW, learners can access course materials from MIT faculty including lecture notes, assignments, exams, and projects. The materials are organized by course and discipline, and range from introductory-level courses to graduate-level courses. Additionally, OCW provides open access to MIT’s research and educational materials, including videos, animations, simulations, and podcasts.

OCW is beneficial to learners around the world, as it provides access to quality educational content that is often only available to students enrolled in MIT courses. It can also help learners gain a better understanding of a subject or field of study, as the materials are accessible to everyone, regardless of their educational background.
