What most people learn about life from school is the old mantra that the purpose of school, is to get education for a job or a trade. This then helps most people to form the basis of an expectation that the next step in life is to use income from this trade or job from to buy a house and settle down with a partner with whom you should expect to raise kids with.
This process suggests that your default path is to get a job, trade or career and spend the rest of your life paying for socially predetermined life choices. However, we believe that focusing on what you really want out of life and making a plan to direct you towards your goals will reduce life time wastage and increase productivity.

First of all you should have a plan for your career or job. We believe that to develop a good plan, you owe it to yourself to find out what you can do already, and what you would need to learn in order to do what you would like to do.
Having a good idea of what type of environment you would like to work in can be form the base of your plan and the answers you generate from questions relating to how you want to spend your time and who you want to spend it with can help you focus on what you should do when thinking about a new path or career.
